About Tony Oneill
My business partner, George Vodos, and I are both in our 29th year of selling realestate in Darwin, making us some of the longest serving agents in the town. I spent the first 14 years of my career at the local LJ Hooker agency as both sales manager and auctioneer before branching out in 1997. We purchased the local Elders Franchise office. We traded as Elders until around 2005 when we sold the Elders Franchise and commenced Property Shop Darwin.

We are a versatile agency, working in residential, rural and commercial. We run a busy rentroll of residential and commercial properties, run by Allison ONeill, a property manager with 20 years experience.

Career Highlights
I bought a block of land from L J Hooker to build my first home in the early 1980's and built the home myself. Within 2 years of that, I was actually working with the agency and had been appointed sales manager. At the time it was the largest Hooker agency in Australia. A further highlight was being appointed as the marketing agent for the launch of the Defence Housing Sale and Leaseback programme by DHA in 1995. This followed acting as the DHA agent for the sale of their exclusive Fairway Ridge housing estate in the early 1990's. These intense marketing programmes kept me busy for 7 days a week for 4 years and proved to be a successful adventure for the DHA, the agency and myself. I still retain an agency appointment with DHA that has continued since the early 1990's.
